Delaware State
University is a public-assisted 1890 land grant
comprehensive institution. Its main campus is located in
Dover, DE. The University has two satellite campuses
located in the cities of Wilmington and Georgetown, DE. The
University has four colleges and two schools, and offers
graduate and undergraduates degrees in many fields. For

The College of Agriculture and Related Sciences is one of
the six colleges and schools at Delaware State University.
The College offers programs in agriculture, agri-business,
agronomy, horticulture, pre-veterinary science, animal and
poultry science, natural resources, wildlife and fisheries
management, pre-forestry, environmental science, nutrition
and dietetics, consumer studies, and clothing, textile and
fashion merchandising. The College of Agriculture and
Related Sciences is equally involved in basic and applied
research as well as cooperative extension services. The
College is proud of its highly trained faculty. Faculty
research spans all facets of agriculture, natural resource
management and environmental science, and extension work by
the College reaches all rural communities in the state of
Delaware.
The National Conference on Agriculture and Natural Resource
Conservation and Management is an initiative of the College
of Agriculture and Related Sciences to bring agriculture
and natural resource faculty and students together for
exchange of ideas. The initiative is planned to become an
annual event that will be held at the time of year when
academic and scientific events calendar is less demanding.
The conference will solicit basic and applied work for
discussion among agriculture and natural resource
communities, and later publish the manuscripts in special
issue of a science journal as Proceedings of the National
Conference on Agriculture and Natural Resource Conservation
and Management. Manuscripts will be peer reviewed and
published work will count as peer reviewed publication.
